From New Zealand!! A warm and very moist storm will begin to affect the Rockies by Wednesday evening with high snow levels until Thursday. The best chance of significant snow in UT will be Wedensday night and Thursday as wrap around moisture from the 4 corners and moderatly cold air bring from 14-20 inches to the highest elevations of the Wasatch by Thursday night. The storm is moving slowly and will eventually move from the 4 corners region to Central Colorado by Thursday/Thursday night. The winds will shift from SW to NW on Thursday/Friday enhancing snowfall and lowering snow levels. I would watch for the tail end of the storm (colder) to bring some epic conditions to both the Wastach and central and southern CO through the latter part of the week. (Thursday in UT and PM Thursday and Friday for Colorado). Enjoy the powder as I am in the land of the KIWI currently Powderchaser Steve |
