The latest storm to lay down almost a foot of new snow in many areas in the Sierra is now over Eastern Colorado producing white out conditions on the plains however for you powderchasers there will be fresh snow to be had at Wolf Creek (4-7 since the lifts closed and over 2 feet this week), and a good dosing of deep snow over northern New Mexico, and Flagstaff AZ. The next low pressure should move into the Northwest this weekend and into the Rockies by late Sunday/Monday bringing a moderate amount of snow to many areas. It appears to be a fairly fast moving system but stay tuned for details as the models bring us closer to next week.
