Mt Baker nabbed 11 inches in the past 2 days. Whistler is reporting 6 inches; however, higher totals likley exist at the upper mountain.
Warmer temps will see rising snow levels to near 5,500 feet in the north Cascades and 7,000 feet in Oregon. Man
The Rockies just got teased with some light snow. These areas below have not seen any snow in the past 2-3 weeks.

Cherry Peak (Love the cherry on the snowcam) in northern Utah.

Snow will continue on Thursday at upper elevations of the PNW, with the highest totals focused on the northern Cascades and Canada. Warming will push snow levels to 4500 and higher through the day (5K) with rain likley at many base areas by late morning.

EXTENDED POWDER FORECAST
The extended forecast below brings high pressure back to many areas of the west, aside from a few areas of New England (Cape Cod is on watch), early next week.
Below: A coastal storm will bring snow to Cape Cod early next week (Ski the Dunes) and might push into eastern Massachusetts. The models are waffling with some pushing the snowfall east of Cape Cod. The image below is from the National Blended Models. The GFS American models push this snow east of the Cape (not shown).

February 1 to February 14th Temperatures at 10K
When looking for any hope of a colder storm, this map from 2/1 to 2/14 shows most of the colder air following a similar pattern to what we have seen for most of this winter up north and pushing into the Midwest and East.
There is a period of cold air that moves down over the eastern Rockies around February 4th-5th.

Snowfall from 2/1 to 2/8
Below: Moving snow map from 2/1 to 2/8 shows some teasing snow (Light) around 2/4 with the cold front mentioned above in Colorado and New Mexico. Yesterday's model runs showed deeper totals that have backed off today. Aside from the near-term wet powder in the PNW/Canada there are high snow totals showing up for the Carolinas on the East coast and freeze warnings for Florida.

Below: 2/1 to 2/8- High pressure in the West with the coastal low noted in the New England next Monday/Tuesday. Additional systems are possible towards the end of this loop for New England.

might low pressure return 2/10-2/14?
Below: 2/10 to 2/14- There are a few signals that low pressure might return to southern California and the Baja around February 10th. Another system pushes in 2/13-2/14 that looks a bit more promising, but is also moving south into Mexico. That system originates further north over Oregon before pushing south over California. The white and blue areas on this map show the best promise of moisture; however, it is too far out to bear accuracy.
